Hiking enthusiasts can explore the Moselle landscape on well-marked hiking trails through vineyards, across meadows and through forests. The Moselle High Trail ("Moselhöhenweg") offers suitable routes for experienced hikers as well as for the less trained. The Calmont via Ferrata ("Calmont-Klettersteig"), which leads through one of the highest vineyards in Europe, and other, smaller via ferrata routes, make hikers' hearts beat faster.

Combination hikes are popular: for example, from Wolf over the Wolfer Berg via the Graacher Schanzen, stop for refreshments at the "Iron Wine List" ("Eisernen Weinkarte") and enjoy the magnificent view over Bernkastel-Kues. Descend through the vineyards into the small town, marvel at the cozy alleyways and the well-preserved half-timbered houses and return to Wolf or Traben-Trarbach by passenger boat. This is just one example of many possible combinations!

Those who prefer leisurely paths will find a variety of short routes. Benches invite you to take a rest, while idyllic corners offer refreshments and more. Pure relaxation, paired with quiet spots where you can "unwind".
